Biography
Meredith Smith represents clients in personal injury litigation and guides cases through investigation, pleadings, discovery, mediation, and trial. She has tried over 30 trials to verdict as first chair, and she is deeply experienced in drafting motions and discovery, negotiating settlements, and preparing clients for deposition and trial testimony.
Meredith is actively involved in professional leadership and trial-lawyer organizations, including service with the Texas Trial Lawyers Association Board of Advocates. She is a Texas Bar Foundation Fellow and has been recognized as a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40. Meredith is also a frequent speaker on trial strategy and litigation themes, including presentations at TTLA conferences and CLE programs.
In 2023, Meredith became the youngest attorney inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). She is committed to trial excellence, professionalism, and preserving the right to trial by jury.
